• Annagh Rainbow Trout Lough
  Annagh Lake is a 100-acre crystal clear spring-fed lake, located 2km from Butlersbridge village and 7km from Cavan Town. The lake is within easy reach of both Dublin (1.5hrs) and Belfast (1.5hrs), and attracts anglers from all parts of the country. It is stocked with quality fighting-fit triploid rainbow trout and stocking takes place four times annually. Recently the club has built a superb log cabin on the lakeshore, and all anglers have access to this facility. They have also installed a unisex compost toilet, and both the cabin and toilet are accessible by wheelchair. Fly fishing only, max 2 fish per person per day.
