Trial Results (overall) 2024
We have now completed the first two trials or selecting our International team for 2025, which were held on Lough Lene on Sunday 24th March 2024 and on Lough Annagh on Sunday 14th April 2024.
Two further trials are planned during 2024, on Lough Mask on Saturday 10th August 2024 and in Munster on 13th/14th September 2024. Further and up-to-date information available from our Secretary on [email protected].
The Irish Ladies Flyfishing Team for 2023 consists of 12 team members and 2 reserves, determined as follows:
1. The top two rods in the 2024 International will automatically qualify for the 2025 team. This international will take place in Llyn Brennig, Wales on Thursday 23rd May 2024.
2. The remaining 10 places on the team will be filled from the 4 trials held in 2024, the best 3 trials of each angler to count.
We thank all those who have participated in our trials to date this year, and welcome new anglers who wish to compete for a place on our team.
We also thank all the fishing clubs, boat operators and supporting personnel who helped us in running our trials..
